From the heart, I can honestly say the single best decision we made for Abbey’s development both on and off the pitch was to sign her up to MSFC as a foundation player almost 5 years ago. We joined MSFC seeking quality coaching of technical skills of the game from Mile Sterjovski, with his wealth of experience as a former Socceroo and International player. We absolutely found what we were looking for! However, we received so much more than skills coaching. Mile and the MSFC coaching team have a genuine interest in MSFC academy kids as whole players, mentoring them on belief, attitude, work ethic, dedication, goal setting, respectfulness and more. All invaluable lessons the players take with them into their training, game, and in life.

Even more fabulous is that MSFC offers all of this in a fun and positive environment, ensuring the kids love what they are doing. Abbey always wanted to be at training. She could not get to training fast enough and would be dressed in her MSFC kit hours before she needed to be! Mile Sterjovski consistently inspires and encourages his academy players to believe in themselves, their goals and to be the best they can be. Mile acknowledges and celebrates their growth and successes at and outside of MSFC. Mile is always at top of Abbey’s list to share her footballing successes with, appreciating Mile and MSFC’s major contribution to those successes. We feel so fortunate and grateful to be a part of the MSFC family and cannot recommend the academy more highly.

Our son Oscar has been fortunate enough to be a student with MSFC for the last 4 years and absolutely loves it. MSFC has always encouraged Oscar to stretch himself, improve his football knowledge and develop new skills. He started as a young 7 yr old and with the support and experienced training of the MSFC coaches we have seen him continue to develop from strength to strength after each clinic. Mile and the coaching staff are always professional, extremely approachable and very personable with all of their students. The coaches are always very positive and are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to football which creates a fantastic learning environment for their students. I have been very fortunate to work with Mile as a player at the AIS and later as a coach on his clinics for young players. Mile has a vast amount of knowledge and experience to share with the players he teaches and he does it in a professional but relaxed and caring manner. I have known Mile Sterjovski for around 25yrs from a young developing footballer at the AIS to an international footballer and now as a coach of his own football academy MSFC. The MSFC Academy is different than many other academies. The continuous change of sessions, the opportunity to be coached by many different coaches in clinics as in the Term sessions are unique and with Mile Sterjovski as the brain behind this Academy it’s a breath of fresh air. Every child from U-8 up to U-18 is supported and been given the chance to improve their football development and be inspired by Mile his career as a professional and follow his guidance as a fantastic human being and mentor to many. The likes of Maty Ryan, Trent Sainsbury, Bernie Ibini and Tom Rogic amongst many have used his guidance and are still developing today.
